Penile Vascular Surgery
When the artery to the penis is damaged but there is no systemic arterial disease bypass surgery under the microscope may yield spontaneous and normal erections. It is a delicate surgery in a very selective patient population. Also in some patient where there is venous leakage (the blood does not stay in the penis but returns back to the circulation making sustaining erection hard), venous ligation may provide good results. But again patient selection should be carefully done.
